Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data FlowLens collects through flowlens.click, why it is collected, how long it is kept, and how you can request access, correction, or deletion. It applies to this website and its contact forms. The operator is FlowLens, 2455 Bennett Avenue, Suite 400, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

The same rules cover the messages you send us about on-chain research, wallet intelligence reports, or a correction to a published blockchain transaction analysis. Reading the site, opening a guide, or looking at a token flow analysis requires no account and no personal details.

In short

We collect the details you type into a form or send by email, plus limited technical data such as the pages you open and the browser you use. We do not sell personal data, we do not use contact details for advertising, and you can ask us at any time to show, correct, or delete what we hold — that request goes to [email protected].

Data we collect

We collect the information you provide directly, which is typically your name, email address, and the content of your message when you use a contact form or email the research desk. If you include a wallet address or transaction hash in a message, that is stored as part of the correspondence.

A note on wallet addresses: an address is public on the chain by nature, but pairing it with your name and email inside our inbox is not. If you would rather not connect the two, describe the wallet behavior analysis you are asking about without pasting the address, and we will still be able to answer general questions about on-chain analytics methods.

Technical data

We also collect limited technical data automatically, such as the pages you view and the browser type you use. This data is not used to identify you. It helps us see which guides and tools are actually read, which wallet activity tracker pages get visited, and whether the site is loading correctly on the devices people carry.

Reading research does not require you to submit anything. The address you are on, wallet intelligence pages, token flow analysis pages, and every guide can be opened without a form, an account, or a sign-in.

Why we process it

Each piece of data has a job. Nothing is collected because it might be useful one day.

Answering you

Contact details are processed to answer your message, whether it is a question about blockchain data intelligence methods or a request for more detail on a specific chart in a research piece.

Corrections

We keep correspondence to handle corrections to published research — for example when a labeled cluster or a dated outflow figure needs to be amended after a reader spots something we missed.

Collaboration

Messages about joint research, data licensing, or a proposed analytical module are kept so the conversation can continue without asking you to repeat the background.

Keeping the site working

Technical data is processed to keep the site working, understand which pages are read, and detect abusive traffic before it affects other visitors.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use contact details for advertising. What we hold is used to run the site and to reply to the people who write to us.

Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses cookies for basic functionality and for aggregate traffic measurement. Details are set out in the Cookie Policy. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site's core content remains readable.

In practice there are two groups. The first keeps the site remembering simple things while you move between pages — whether you already closed the cookie notice, for example. The second counts visits in aggregate so we can tell whether a research page or a token flow analysis page is being read, without building a profile of any single reader.

If you block cookies

Blocking or deleting cookies does not lock you out of anything. Articles, the wallet clustering explainers, and the tools directory all stay open. The only change is that some preferences may need to be set again on your next visit, and our aggregate counters will miss your session.

Retention

Correspondence

Correspondence is kept for as long as it is needed to handle the request and any follow-up, and for a reasonable period afterward so that repeat questions can be answered in context. A reader who returns six months later with a follow-up to an earlier note should not have to restate everything.

Technical logs

Technical logs are kept for a shorter period. They exist to spot broken pages and abusive traffic patterns, and they lose their usefulness quickly once a problem has been diagnosed.

When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or anonymized. Deletion means the message and the personal details attached to it are removed from our systems; anonymized records may be kept in aggregate form, with names, addresses, and contact details stripped out, so that we can still count how many correction requests arrived in a given period.

Sharing

Personal data is not shared with third parties for their own marketing. It may be handled by service providers that host the site or process email on our behalf, and those providers act on our instructions.

Those providers are chosen for a specific job: keeping the site online, delivering email, and recording basic traffic figures. They may not use your details for their own purposes, and the arrangement ends with the service.

Data may be disclosed where required by law or to protect the rights and safety of the site and its users. If a lawful request arrives, we disclose only what the request actually covers.

What we never do with your data

  • — Sell contact details to data brokers or advertisers
  • — Use your message to build an advertising audience
  • — Publish a wallet address you sent us in private correspondence
  • — Hand contact lists to any third-party analytical data source

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to your personal data, ask for correction or deletion, object to certain processing, or request a portable copy. California residents have additional rights under state law.

Access

Ask what personal data we hold about you and receive a copy of it.

Correction

Ask us to fix details that are wrong or out of date, including a name or email address attached to an earlier message.

Deletion

Ask us to delete correspondence and the personal details attached to it, where we are not required to keep it.

Objection and portability

Object to certain processing, or ask for a portable copy of what you gave us, in a format you can keep.

Requests can be sent to [email protected] or by post to the address above. We may ask for information needed to confirm your identity before acting on a request. That check is deliberately modest: it exists so that we do not hand your data to someone pretending to be you.

Security and changes

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is free of risk, and we do not claim otherwise. If something goes wrong, we would rather tell you plainly than describe the site as impenetrable.

This policy may be updated. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date. Minor edits — a clarified sentence, a corrected link — are made without a rewrite, and the version you are reading is always the one in force.

Questions people ask about this policy

Do I need to send personal data to read the research?

No. Research pieces, wallet intelligence explainers, and token flow analysis pages are open to read. Personal details only enter the picture when you choose to write to us through a form or by email, and even then you decide how much to include.

If I send a wallet address, is it stored?

Yes, it is stored as part of the correspondence, because that is what makes a follow-up possible. If you would rather keep it out of our inbox, describe the behavior instead of pasting the address — a description of what you saw in a wallet clustering view is usually enough for us to point you toward the right method.

Do third-party analytical data sources get my details?

No. External sources such as GMGN are referenced as places where public chain data can be checked, and the site is built so that further data sources and analytical modules can be added over time. None of them receives your contact details or your correspondence from us.

How quickly do you answer a data request?

We aim to reply within the working week, Monday to Friday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM Pacific Time. If your request needs us to search through older correspondence, it may take a little longer, and we will tell you that rather than leave you guessing.

Does the AI Activity Summary feature change what you store?

AI on-chain analysis inside the tool works on public ledger data that is already visible to anyone. It does not require your name, your email, or an account, and it does not add your personal details to any dataset. This policy covers what the website collects from visitors, not what a public chain already shows.

Contact us about your data

Write to the research desk with any question about this policy, or to ask for access, correction, or deletion of what we hold. Sending a message does not subscribe you to anything, and we do not use the address you write from for advertising.

Before you write

Say which of the four rights you are using — access, correction, deletion, or a portable copy — and send from the address you originally wrote from. That is usually enough for us to find the correspondence and act on it without a longer back-and-forth.

If your question is about a research piece rather than your data, the research desk handles that too. If it is about how the site is built or what it covers, the About page explains the scope in plain terms.
